Don't let the look fool you. I researched best places to dine while in Shreveport/Bossier City, and came across Good Eats Market. First night, I dined here with my husband. I ordered the fried catfish, shrimp, and tenders, which came with a side of your choice. I'm a true southerner, so I was really skeptical about the food, and BOY WAS IT GOOD!!! The cook even threw in a few extra shrimp, the catfish strips were really tasty, but the tenders were too spicy for my liking. The tenders taste as if they were marinated in hot sauce instead of the marinated the cashier mentioned. This place is a staple for me everytime I return to Bossier. They even sell soups, which are pre-packaged and ready to purchase.

This place is great, the sandwiches are delicious from the chicken salad on a croissant to the turkey and cheddar panini. The chicken tortilla and tomato basil soup are delicious as well. It is fairly priced comfort food.

This place was mediocre at best. Upon entering, we were greeted by a staff that all had their hands on their hips and a sly attitude on their faces. One of the first things they said to us was, "you know we close at 3." It was 2:15. I ordered the smoked turkey wrap. It wasn't bad, but wasn't anything spectacular. A bit overpriced for something I could have whipped up at home. My friend ordered a few cheddar garlic biscuits. They placed the biscuits in the microwave a few seconds and brought them out. They tasted like rubber. The chips they have were kettle cooked potato chips. Nothing you can't get out of bag. The cookie that came with the order looked and tasted like one that came from Wal-Mart. I was excited to try this place, and was severely disappointed. I'm really glad that we were able to finished our food in our allotted 45 minutes.

Great neighborhood eatery. Delicious sandwiches, the best tomato basil soup and the over the top chicken salad served with bottomless iced tea that taste like tea. If the food and great crowds aren't enough, the offerings in the market case are great to pick up for rushed suppers or unexpected company. The people who work there are always friendly. Just a good spot to meet friends for lunch. Business people, tennis players, and retired folks all meet and greet there.

I ordered the chicken salad croissant with an iceberg salad. It was really good and I plan on coming back. Good little sandwich shop.

Everything looks ok on the surface. The potato soup was good. Pickle looked like it had been sucked on before they put it in the plate. Panini bread soggy with sandwich meat from a bad grocery store and pimento sandwich was greasy. Gave refund on pimento so that's why it got 3 stars. This is a place for the older crowd. Maybe the one on Shreveport is better.

Food is prepared days in advance. I have gotten rotten lettuce in my chicken Caesar wrap. Service is shotty as best.
